I have been looking for a sport that my kids love.

I think that I have found it.

My kids love to swim. Isaac is getting really good. Aaron is not a strong as Isaac but he is getting there. Nicole is a little fish now. She asks me everyday if it is swim lessons. She can't wait to get in the water and swim.

I know that this is a little late getting out.

Christian and I were able to go on a trip to Coronado Island for a few days in April. Christian spent a lot of time in meetings and I saw a few things in San Diego. I went to the Zoo and Old Town San Diego. I was amazed at how well the public transportation worked. I would catch the ferry in the morning and walk up a few blocks and either catch a bus or ride the train. Both were a lot of fun. When I was done sight seeings I would come back to the ferry platform and take the ferry back to the island. I don't think I have walk so much in along time. It was about 1 1/2 miles to the ferry platform ( I did this twice a day for 3 days).

I think the one thing I miss the most is the run I did on the beach in the morning.

Christian came home for lunch today and asked if I wanted to go see Cats the musical. I was excited because it is one that left the theater before I got a chance to see it. Well, Christian found out that a group of 10-18 year olds were putting it on in Folsom and Sunday was the last day. Well I told him that I would get a sitter and we could go. He surprised me and said he wanted to take the kids. So tonight we got ready and headed out. We arrived at the theater, bought our tickets, and found our seats. We told the kids that they could not get up from their seats until intermission. As soon as the lights went down and the singing started they couldn't take their eyes off the actors. It was amazing. The kids talked about their favorites all the way home. I am so glad that they loved it.

Our St.George Trip!

We love St. George, Ut. There is so much to do if you love the out doors.

Christian loves to climb. That is one thing we miss living in California. But all of the kids climbed this. I think that they have caught the climbing bug just like their dad.

When you think of a family vacation what comes to mind. For me it is getting in the car driving up to 12 or more hours, getting to our destination, and then relaxing with my husband and kids.
Well this time we had a few detours, we did drive the 12 hours to the condo we stay at in St. George. Then as we are all ready to get out of the car the key that we had didn't work. We had to make a choice either stay in St.George at a hotel and make the drive to Salt Lake the next morning to get a new key or keep driving and come back the next day. We decided to keep driving. We were so happy my sister was able to have us stay at her house. We got to her house about 3 am. We slept a few hours and then got up the next morning to homemade waffles and juice. Later in the afternoon we drove to Christians parents house and got a new key. We had fun visiting with family and then set off for St. George around 7:30pm . We got to St.George around Midnight. We were so excited to finally get into the condo. Christian put the key in the lock and it would not turn. We thought maybe the lock was stuck a little so we turned the key with a little bit of force and broke the key off in the lock. Well, we were so tired and decided there was nothing more we could do so we drove up the hill to the Laquinta Inn and spent the night. The next morning we call a lock smith who let us into the condo.
We had so much fun on our vacation. We got to see our family in Salt Lake and we saw some of my family in St. George. We played in the sand dunes in Snow Canyon. It also has some underground caves that we explored for a while.

We loved our vacation.

Wow what a few months.

This was Nicole the morning after I got home from my trip to my grandfathers funeral. She didn't know you are not suppose to use your finger to get the candy out of pouch. Christian showed her how to use the little candy stick.

Christian and I have been married 11 years. We celebrated by going out to BBQ with our friends the Dyers. It was such a fun night.

For Pre-School Nicole had a valentines party. The girls were being so funny that day. Maybe it was all the sugar they ate.

What a girl wants, What a girl needs........

I love this shirt. My friend found this cute shirt at my favorite store. I just had to get it for my cute little girl. But this little girl hates to wear a shirt under it. I have told her that I will just get rid of the shirt. Which puts her in tears every time. It is the winter, but going sleeveless and freezing is such a sacrifice you must make when you are 4. She will wear it with a sweater on top and tell me that she will not take off the sweater, but sure enough off comes the sweater and my little angle is looking at her arms and admiring herself. I don't know what I am going to do with her.

I made her sad because I told her that she needed to smile in the pictures and to put her arms down. You know I am so mean.

It all started like any other Sunday morning. She dressed herself and comb her own hair

(it is a great job for someone who is 4).

and then the little girl was in tears because I will not let her leave the house with out her hair done. She only wants one pony, never more, but would be happy with none. So today I told her that I would do one braid in her hair.

She will tilt her head to what ever side I am doing that morning and this results in me asking several times for her to move her head to the middle. Sure enough 2 seconds later it is tilted to the side. I move her head back with a great response of tears (this goes on for several minutes). Until finally after several tries I get the finished product. She looks so cute with her hair done. I know that it is a losing battle because Sunday is really the only day that I get to do her hair anymore. I am hoping when she goes to school in near future that I will be able to do her hair every morning, but we will have to see.
